Come join us for Studio Tours - the annual highlight of the San Francisco Design Week! Every year around 600 people visit the studio tours that showcase the best of the Bay Area's design. This year over 40 studios with specialization in fashion design, architecture, branding, interactive and experience design, and industrial design will open their doors for the visitors during the two nights of tours.

Wednesday’s tour “Mid-Market - Hayes Valley - Mission - Bernal Heights” starts in the Mid-Market area in the North and Bernal Heights in the South and ends in one center - Mission District. Start your tour in one of these locations and follow the route, or create your own route by visiting the studios you wish to tour. Studio Tours are free! Bring your friends and colleagues!

Limited space available (30 people per ride on a first come, first served basis). Roving UX Studio is part of the studio tours and not a shuttle for studio tour guests. Guests are responsible for their own transportation to and from the studio tours.

Secession Art & Design opened our Bernal Heights location in August of 2007, and has since grown to represent over 50 independent artists and designers. Our retail location is now a gallery, boutique, and workspace combined; creating an untraditional storefront that allows customers to experience curated shows by owner, Eden Stein, and see the process of art and jewelry being made in-house by Heather Robinson and Colleen Mauer. In 2010, 2012 and 2013 Secession was awarded Best Art Gallery by San Francisco Bay Guardian readers, for continuing to push the envelope in exhibitions and wearable art.
Elefint Designs is a strategic design studio that works with good causes. We start all of our engagements by developing a deep understanding of our clients’ goals and audiences, and then create beautiful designs that help advance their missions. Tina Frey Designs is a collection of modern homewares & jewelry designs in resin. The colorful pieces are inspired by delicious translucent popsicles, jelly beans, and the blue sea. Each piece is hand sculpted and designed by Tina Frey in our San Francisco studio. The collection is completely handmade with care resulting in unique variations in each item.
At FontShop, we love type. We write obsessively about typography in our blogs and newsletters and share font trends and inspiration on social media. We engage our fellow font nerds, along with the type curious, through interactive discovery tools like FontBook and our Plugin. We curate, promote and distribute 150,000+ fonts from expertly selected foundries for desktop, web and mobile. We’ll make sure you have what you need for your next project.
